Tanooki Site is a site about video games esoterica.

My name is J.J. McCullough. I was born in 1984 and live in Vancouver.

I remember seeing Super Mario Bros. at a display in Costco when I was around five years old. I asked my friend Oliver about it at school, and he told me there were actually three Mario games. I got them all for Christmas that year because I had those kinds of parents.
